When I started looking for my first show prospect I wanted a blue rough female.  Instead, fate brought me a pure for sable smooth male and my life was never the same.  Ringer taught me to appreciate the Collie without hair and the often unique traits of smooths.  While we never completed his Championship, he did take 13 points and a major along the way.  He also taught me A LOT about patience.  Thanks to Ringer, I will never NOT have a smooth!
